Biography

George O’Kelley is an Executive Professor for Supply Chain Management at the Mays School of Business, Texas A&M University.

George is a Vice President of Operations for Flex, Inc. and supports Americas region operations for Flex. He has worked in the manufacturing sector for the past 24 years supporting roles for operations, purchasing, procurement, logistics and engineering. He has worked for Texas Instruments, Nokia, Amazon and Flex. Prior to working in the business world, he served the United States of America in the Army and was honorably discharged as a Captain.

He is a graduate of Texas A&M University, class of 1990, with a BS in Construction Science. He has also earned an MBA from the University of Dallas.

George is originally from Augusta, GA and grew up all over the USA while his father served in the Army. They settled in Central Texas when he retired where he graduated high school in Killeen, TX. He was a member of the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M University and a part of Parson’s Mounted Cavalry.

He is married to Terri, also class of 1990, and has 2 son’s who are also Aggies. He enjoys working on the family ranch, hunting, fishing and discussing and trying to figure out global business.
