Misti Hill Carter

Misti Hill Carter, JD, PhD

Dr. Carter grew up in the Brazos Valley. She graduated from A&M Consolidated High School and then attended Texas A&M University (Accounting). She obtained her law degree from The University of Texas School of Law and joined a large Texas firm in Austin, Texas. While in practice, Dr. Carter represented employers in non-subscriber litigation and handled general business litigation matters.

When her family returned to College Station, Dr. Carter obtained her doctoral degree in Communication Studies. Dr. Carter taught communication skills to physicians and medical students at the Texas A&M Health Science Center.
