Academic Advisor III
Department of Finance
Jennifer Griffin serves as Academic Advisor to students in high impact programs, as well as MFM and MRE students, in the Department of Finance. She previously served as Program Coordinator for the Commercial Banking Program, where she facilitated the admissions process, managed board relations, coordinated various events, and advised program students. Before joining Mays Business School in 2015, Jennifer worked in the banking industry for almost ten years as an Associate Manager. She earned her BS in Leadership Development in 2014 and MS in Educational Human Resource Development in 2017 from Texas A&M University. She currently serves as Chair of Mays Staff Council.
In addition to working at Mays, Jennifer has served as an Academic Mentor for Texas A&M Athletics. In this role, she helped student-athletes maximize their academic potential by helping develop study plans, learning strategies, and time management skills.
Jennifer and her husband, Sam, recently welcomed a baby boy (Samuel III) into their family. In her spare time, Jennifer likes to spend time with her family and watch Aggie football and baseball!
