Biography
Janet Marcantonio engages her students in activities that improve their ability to understand and develop themselves, influence and manage others, and master repeatable processes for making decisions, solving problems, and leading change.
In her current role on the Mays Business School faculty, Dr. Marcantonio teaches the Full-Time MBA Capstone Consulting Project Course, the Full-Time MBA Individual Leadership Development Course, and the Professional MBA Capstone Project Course.
Prior to joining Texas A&M in 2008, Dr. Marcantonio worked in the non-profit sector in the areas of program design and administration, fundraising, and development. Her experience includes positions at Helen Keller International, the Chartwell Center, and the Rockefeller Foundation, and engagements with numerous nonprofit clients through J. C. Geever, a leading New York-based non-profit consulting firm. In the late 1980s Dr. Marcantonio served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Gabon, Africa, and in 1999 she completed her Ph.D. in English with a focus on nineteenth-century American literature. In 2007 she earned an MBA from Texas A&M.
