Biography

Jeremy is a second year PhD student in the James Benjamin Department of Accounting at the Mays Business School.

Prior to joining the PhD program, Jeremy worked in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada as a senior tax analyst at Deloitte LLP and subsequently as a tax manager at KPMG LLP. In those roles, he primarily provided tax planning, compliance and accounting services to owner managed businesses and private corporations.

During his time as a tax practitioner in public accounting, Jeremy obtained his CPA, CA (Canada) designations from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.

 

Research Interests

Corporate tax avoidance, international tax, intersection between tax and financial reporting
