Biography

John Schomburger is a Ph.D. student in the James Benjamin Department of Accounting at Mays Business School – Texas A&M University. His main research interests are in financial reporting.

John is a licensed CPA in Texas. He started his career at the Financial Accounting Standards Board as a Postgraduate Technical Assistant on the research staff. Following his work at the FASB, John joined Ernst & Young’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services group as a Senior Associate. He received a Master of Financial Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Business Honors from Texas A&M University.
