Biography
Karlie serves as an undergraduate advisor at Mays Business School and advises all business majors.
Originally from Maryland, Karlie has a professional background in academic advising and student support within higher education. Prior to joining Mays Business School, she served as a Scholastic Supervisor in the Center for Student-Athlete Success for the Texas A&M Men’s and Women’s Track & Field program. She previously worked at East Carolina University as an Academic Coordinator for multiple Division I athletic programs, including Baseball, Men’s Golf, and Women’s Soccer. Her career in academic services began as a Graduate Assistant Academic Coordinator for Men’s Basketball, where she provided intensive academic mentoring and support to student-athletes.
A former NCAA Division II women’s lacrosse captain and Academic All-American, Karlie values leadership, resilience, and fostering supportive environments where students can succeed both academically and personally.
Karlie earned her MS in Human Development and Family Science from East Carolina University in 2021 and her BS in Psychology from the University of Mount Olive in 2019.
