Biography
Katy Lane is the director of the Center for International Business Studies, Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. She has worked in international education for more than a decade, creating new programs and initiatives, providing oversight for outreach and risk management, and leading programs on multiple continents. She also serves on the NAFSA: Association of International Educators Region III leadership team and chaired the 2020 Texas NAFSA State Conference.
Katy received her B.A. in Mathematics and her M.S. in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Sciences from Texas A&M University. As a student, she interned in Panama and studied in Spain. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in international education and enjoys spending time outdoors and watching football with her husband, Keith, and their two children.
