Katy Lane

Center for International Business Studies


Katy Lane is the director of the Center for International Business Studies, Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.  She has worked in international education for more than ten years, creating new programs and initiatives, providing oversight for outreach and risk management, and co-leading programs in Chile and Taiwan.  She also serves on the NAFSA: Association of International Educators Region III leadership team and chaired the 2020 Texas NAFSA State Conference.  As a student, Katy interned in Panama, studied in Spain, and attended a conference in the United Kingdom.

Katy received her B.A. in Mathematics and her M.S. in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Sciences from Texas A&M University.  She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in international education and enjoys spending time outdoors and watching football with her husband, Keith, and their two children.
