Biography
Kristen (Lindholm) Winkler is an accomplished higher education professional whose career centers on empowering students and strengthening academic programs. She currently serves as an advising manager for management information systems, supply chain management, and business administration (university studies) at the Undergraduate Advising Office of Mays Business School. In this role, she provides strategic leadership, guiding students through academic planning, degree progress, and long-term educational success.
A first-generation college graduate, Kristen brings a deeply personal understanding of the challenges and opportunities students face. Her background fuels her commitment to student support, inclusive advising practices, and creating pathways for academic achievement. She has built a reputation for being detail-oriented, collaborative, and student-centered, qualities that have made her a trusted resource for both students and colleagues.
Kristen holds a bachelor of science in spatial science with a minor in education, human resource development from Texas A&M University, and a master of education in higher education with a focus in academic advising from Sam Houston State University. Her professional experience spans academic advising, program coordination, and student success initiatives, reflecting a career dedicated to improving the undergraduate experience.
