Biography

Kristen Winkler has recently joined as a Graduate Advisor in the Finance Department at Mays Business School. She brings nearly a decade of experience supporting student success in higher education.

Prior to her current role, Kristen served in the Mays Undergraduate Advising Office, where she advanced from Academic Advisor to Advising Manager for the INFO department. She led advising operations for more than 600 undergraduate students and supervised a team dedicated to student-centered advising and academic support. Her professional background also includes experience in financial aid, student-athlete services, and academic success coaching, providing her with a broad perspective on university processes and holistic student support.

Kristen will serve as the primary advisor for Master of Finance (MFM) students across the General, TRIP, and CBP tracks. She remains actively engaged in professional development and is passionate about promoting student wellness, academic progress, and program excellence.
