Biography

Dr. Ying (Laura) Li is a clinical associate professor and SCMT undergraduate academic advisor in the department of Information and Operations Management at the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. She received her Ph.D. in 2005 from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. Dr. Li’s research involves capacity, technology and inventory management, healthcare operations management, and data modeling for decision-making. Dr. Li’s research has appeared in Management Science, IIE Transactions, European Journal of Operational Research, OMEGA, International Journal of Production Economics and others. Dr. Li has also worked with the University of Michigan hospital and Scott & White hospital on cost containment related projects.
