Linda Windle

Associate Director, Academic Services

Biography

As associate director of Undergraduate Academic Services, Dr. Windle advises and mentors undergraduate students and works closely with faculty and staff for continuous development of the business curricula and program opportunities. She has taught ethics in business, Money-Savvy Students (a first-year seminar) and serves as an instructional mentor for Freshman Business Initiative. A guiding principle for Dr. Windle’s life is to make a positive difference and impact in the lives of others. She enjoys helping students identify and achieve their personal and academic goals.

Prior to joining Mays Business School, Dr. Windle spent over 10 years working in student affairs at Texas A&M University and Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. Also, she was engaged on a part-time basis for several years in youth ministry.

In her spare time Dr. Windle actively participates in worship life and mission outreach at a local church, spends time with family, friends and neighbors, and enjoys gardening, baking, reading, movies, and music.

She is a recipient of the President’s Meritorious Service Award (2022), Mays Star Performer Award (2022 and 2009), Mays Outstanding Staff Award (2021 and 2004), President’s Award for Excellence in Academic Advising (2014 and 2004), Margaret Annette Peters Advising Award (2013),  Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi Inductee (2007), and Division of Student Affairs Outstanding Graduate Assistant Award (1997).
