Biography

Maria serves as a point of contact for enrolled graduate students in the Accounting programs, including the Professional Program in Accounting (PPA), MS Accounting, and Flex Online tracks. She also serves as a primary point of contact for employer engagement, fostering relationships with recruiting partners and supporting employer involvement across Accounting programs. Maria joined the Accounting department from the Adam C. Sinn Department of Finance, where she supported the Aggie Real Estate Advisory Board, helped expand the Aggie Real Estate Club, and managed key initiatives for the Real Estate Program from 2024 to 2026.

Prior to her work in Finance, Maria served as a Career Coordinator with the Texas A&M Career Center and gained additional experience in digital marketing and B2B sales for small and medium-sized businesses with Hearst Digital Media Services. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Leadership Studies from Texas A&M University in 2023, with minors in Communication and Hospitality Management.

A Bryan native, Maria enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors. She is also the proud mother of two children, Emma and Andres, who keep her active and inspired.
