Priyanka Dwivedi is an Assistant Professor at Texas A&M’s Management department. She received her PhD in Management and Organization at Pennsylvania State University. Prior to pursuing her doctorate, she graduated with an MBA from the Smeal College of Business at Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s in Psychology from the University of Delhi, India. Her research focuses on the micro-foundations of strategy and the socio-cognitive and affective mechanisms that shape the behavior of strategic leaders and influence firm outcomes. She is particularly interested in examining how organizations promote diversity in the upper echelons and create a culture of inclusivity within their communities. Her research, published in the Academy of Management Journal and Journal of Applied Psychology, has also examined how female and minority leaders overcome persistent biases and stereotypes to achieve success at the highest levels in organizations.
