Sudarsan Rangan

Biography
Sudarsan Rangan received his Ph.D. in Operations Management from The University of Alabama. He started as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Mays Business School and joined the Department of Information and Operations Management at Texas A&M University as a Clinical Assistant Professor.
Dr. Rangan teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Supply Chain Management. Some of the classes include Statistical Methods for Business, Operations Management and Business Process Design.
Dr. Rangan serves as an advisor for undergraduate students in the Supply Chain Management program. He also serves in various committees within the INFO Department, Mays Business School and Texas A&M University.
Dr. Rangan has been honored as a Recognized Professor for the Greek Community. He was nominated and selected as a “Guest Coach” for a Texas A&M Soccer game, and a Texas A&M Women’s Basketball game by his students. Dr. Rangan serves as a Maroon & White Leadership Coach. Dr. Rangan was also selected as a Fish Camp Namesake. Dr. Rangan won the INFO Department Faculty-Staff Service Award in 2016.
