Research Rankings

The Ph.D. in Business Administration – Management program is designed to prepare students to become scholars capable of publishing in the top journals from the moment they graduate, if not earlier. Although research rankings do not tell the full story of a doctoral program’s quality or research impact, they provide one useful indicator of faculty research productivity and the broader research environment in which doctoral students are trained.

The Department of Management has been highly ranked in recent research productivity rankings:

• Texas A&M/University of Georgia Rankings: Ranked No. 2 among management departments in research productivity over the most recent five-year period.
• UT Dallas Rankings: Ranked No. 13 in North America and No. 20 globally among management departments in research productivity over the most recent four-year period.*
