Incoming Freshmen
Apply for scholarships from Texas A&M and Mays Business School through Apply Texas or the Coalition Application. A complete application is required for consideration for any university scholarship, including those awarded by Mays Business School. Complete the scholarship application module in Apply Texas or the scholarship page in the Coalition Application.
The application deadline is December 1 each year.

Mays Business School Scholarships
Mays Business School offers multi-year scholarships to incoming freshmen through a competitive and holistic review process. Emphasis is given to academic achievement, campus and community involvement, leadership experience, and special talents and/or attributes.
To be eligible for consideration, you must have a complete scholarship application and be admitted to Mays Business School. Most available scholarships require the recipient to be a student selected for the Business Honors Program.
If you are awarded a Mays Business School scholarship, you will be notified by mail and email in late February. Your scholarship offer will also be added to your Financial Aid Portal along with any other scholarships and/or financial aid offered to you by the university.
Scholarships & Financial Aid
University-level scholarships are awarded by Scholarships & Financial Aid, including academic and need-based scholarships.
This office also manages financial aid programs available to anyone, including grants, loans, and work-study opportunities. To apply for any financial aid program, you must complete a financial aid application.
Apply as early as possible for maximum consideration for financial aid opportunities.
All scholarship applications must be submitted by the December 1 deadline. There is no priority deadline.
Other Scholarship Opportunities
Additional university scholarship opportunities are available through the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets and the Texas A&M Foundation.
The Texas A&M Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) supporting Texas A&M, awards Foundation Excellence Awards to underrepresented students, including minorities and those from economically or educationally disadvantaged backgrounds. An Apply Texas or Coalition Application is required for consideration. The deadline is December 1.
The Texas A&M Corps of Cadets awards both merit and need-based scholarships to incoming freshmen. Scholarships require students to be an active member of the Corps of Cadets, but require no further military obligation. An Apply Texas or Coalition Application is required for consideration. The deadline is December 1.
External / Outside Scholarships
Many local, regional, and national organizations offer scholarships to students to use at whichever college they attend. External or outside scholarships are a huge source of support for students at Texas A&M. Visit Scholarships & Financial Aid’s website for more information about outside scholarships. You can also search by region. There are also links to larger and broader scholarship search engines.
