Wayne Roberts ’85 serves currently as President and Chief Executive Officer at Abrigo, the leading provider of enterprise risk management solutions to America’s community financial institutions. Abrigo enjoys industry leading customer loyalty and an employee centric company culture that has fueled its success over the 19+ year history of the company. Abrigo is experiencing an accelerated growth phase by building on these strengths and driving the next generation of customer service, operational excellence, and continued product innovation. Known as a strong mentor, coach and developer of people, Wayne has a proven track record of building winning teams that get exceptional results, the right way.

Prior to joining Abrigo, Wayne served as Chief Operating Officer and Head of Human Resources at Accruent, the leading provider of real estate and facilities management solutions. As Chief Operating Officer, Wayne was responsible for the teams that developed, managed, supported, implemented, consulted and hosted the full suite of Accruent software products. During his tenure, Accruent doubled in revenue, EBITDA, employees, and customers.

Before Accruent, Wayne served in a variety of senior executive roles at Rackspace, Dell, Accenture and Trammell Crow Company where he has built an extensive track record in Customer Support, Operations, Professional Services, Sales, Product Development, Real Estate and Human Resources.

Wayne is a proud Fightin’ Texas Aggie and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Analysis and a Master of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University. As a student, Wayne was heavily involved in campus life activities, particularly Student Government and the Residence Hall Association, holding numerous leadership positions in both organizations. He is a proud recipient of the Buck Weirus Spirit Award.

Wayne and his wife, Shannon, currently reside in Austin, Texas. Their son, Jack, is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where he majored in Music Composition. He is currently a graduate student at UCLA studying Music Composition for Movies and Television. Their daughter, Katy, is a Junior in Mays Business School's Business Honors program and plans to attend medical school upon graduation.

Music is a family passion and Wayne also serves on the Board of the Austin Symphony Orchestra and is a Knight of the Symphony. He enjoys golf, traveling, cooking and supporting any and all activities related to Texas A&M. Wayne currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Student Recruitment and Career Development Committee on the Dean’s Advisory Board for Mays Business School and is also very involved in the 12th Man Foundation, currently serving as a Board Member. He is also Captain of the Austin Champions Council, member of the Athletic Ambassadors, an Eppright Distinguished Donor, and in the Kyle Field Capital Campaign.
