The Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest award given to a faculty member at Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School for sustained and outstanding scholarly contributions. The Lifetime Achievement Award has a rigorous selection process beginning with faculty nominations. Then the Mays Research Council and the Mays Executive Committee review nominees and make their recommendations to the Dean.

Nominations: January of each year, the Executive Associate Dean shall send out a call to the
School soliciting nominations for this award. All nominations must be reviewed and endorsed by the department heads.

Eligibility: A minimum of 10 years of service to Mays Business School, rank of endowed chair,
recipient of the Ricky W. Griffin Outstanding Research Achievement Award and the AFS Award for Distinguished Achievement in research, appointment as Editor or Associate Editor of top-tier journals, and significant contributions to the mentoring of junior faculty and doctoral students.
