What is Aggie PITCH?

Aggie PITCH is a high-energy competition that brings together the best student business pitches at Texas A&M. From tech startups to creative new gadgets, the students competing in Aggie PITCH have all put tremendous effort into their startups, but only 1 pitch can take home 1st place and the coveted McFerrin Cup.

Each year the McFerrin Center sends student teams to major competitions such as the S.E.C. Student Pitch Competition, Rice Business Plan Competition, and Baylor New Ventures Competition. We only send the best of the best to represent Texas A&M, and Aggie PITCH helps us identify student teams who can compete on a national platform.

All current Texas A&M students (including branch campus & A&M System Schools) are eligible to submit a business concept & plan. Competition finalists will be selected and privately invited to pitch their concept & plan at Aggie PITCH in June of 2021.

Why Compete?

Finalists will compete for a portion of the largest prize pool ever offered in an entrepreneurial business pitch competition at Texas A&M University. The cash prizes are awarded to the individual participants listed for each winning team. They are non-equity, non-ownership cash awards, to be paid through each student’s Texas A&M account. Student awardees must be in good financial standing with the university, and are encouraged, but not required, to utilize these funds in a manner consistent with their entrepreneurial goals.

Who Can Compete?

Any student registered at a Texas A&M System University is eligible to compete. A list of those universities can be found here. For all other information on Eligibility Criteria please refer to the Student Competition Handbook.
