Blackstone LaunchPad Powered by Techstars
Blackstone LaunchPad powered by Techstars enhances and expands access to entrepreneurship programs and opportunities for students at Texas A&M University. Open to current and recent Former students of all majors, this campus-based initiative amplifies existing McFerrin Center entrepreneurship programs and provides additional opportunities for individuals to receive mentoring, grow their network, and access the resources needed to learn how to successfully launch a business.
Blackstone LaunchPad powered by Techstars was established in 2008 as part of the Blackstone Charitable Foundation’s Entrepreneurship Initiative, modeled after a successful program at the University of Miami. It is powered by a partnership with Techstars, a global platform for investment that helps entrepreneurs connect to a variety of resources and expertise needed to accelerate their ventures. Blackstone LaunchPad powered by Techstars recently expanded and is now currently available to students on 30 campuses globally.
Part of a Global Network
In 2016, Texas A&M University, The University of Texas at Dallas, and the University of Texas at Austin joined 16 other schools in the Blackstone LaunchPad powered by Techstars network.
