Silicon Valley Bank Trek

The McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship is proud to be a partner for the Silicon Valley Bank Trek.

Purpose

SVB Trek strives to champion the next generation of innovators. Silicon Valley Bank has partnered with university advisers and tech industry leaders to create a unique opportunity for student innovators.

What

To champion the next generation of innovators, Silicon Valley Bank partners with university advisors, tech industry leaders and luminaries to create a unique opportunity for trailblazing students. The SVB Trek gives them an insider’s view of the innovative, sector-focused life in Silicon Valley.  This program is boosted with immersive learning experiences and one-on-one engagements.  Over the four day event in both San Francisco and Silicon Valley, students will build a network of peers and advisors and gain insights and advice to propel them to the next stage of their career development. There will also be customized, one-on-one meetings between each student and an entrepreneur, VC, or a SVB executive, based on student preferences. The SVB Trek provides students with an immersive learning experience and discussion platform to help them move their bold ideas forward.

Who

Students are carefully selected for the SVB Trek based on two factors: their aptitude to be future leaders in the tech industry and their desire to advance their career development.
