MSF Sophomore & Junior Start
Texas A&M Sophomores & Juniors: Maximizes Career Opportunities and Minimizes Cost!
Maximize Career Opportunities: Many premier employers only fill full-time positions with students whose final internship was with them. MSQF Sophomore or Junior Start gives you enough time and knowledge to pursue the most competitive final internships. For MSQF students, final internships occur during the summer between your undergrad senior year and your full-time MSQF year. MSQF Sophomore & Junior Start students are best prepared because they are allowed to take MSQF courses and to utilize Mays Graduate Career Services while they are still an undergrad.
Minimizes MSQF Cost: To prepare for the recruiting process, MSQF Sophomore & Junior Start allows you to take 10-14 credit hours of MSQF courses while you are still an undergrad. This includes 6 hours that you will take in August following admissions. While the primary reason is for recruiting competitiveness, MSQF Sophomore & Junior Start also has the benefit of reducing the cost of the Program by up to 10% because the 10-14 hours of courses taken while an undergrad is charged at the undergrad tuition rates.
Additional Benefits:
- Annual January Road Show (sophomore applicants): Visit MSQF Advisory Board companies in Houston, Dallas, Austin, and New York
- Soft Skills: Extended time working directly with Career Coaches, Executive Professors and other professionals to help you focus on sharpening your interviewing, networking, presenting, and dining skills as well as perfecting your elevator pitch.
