[1] Exam length is the maximum time limit for the exam for all students.
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a federal anti-discrimination statute that provides comprehensive civil rights protection for persons with disabilities. Among other things, this legislation requires that all students with disabilities be guaranteed a learning environment that provides for reasonable accommodation of their disabilities.
If you believe you have a disability requiring an accommodation, please contact Disability Services, currently located in the Disability Services building at the Student Services at White Creek complex on west campus or call 979-845-1637. For additional information, visit http://disability.tamu.edu.
Students who register with Disability Services and choose to use online exam proctoring services with an additional time accommodation pay the same fee as per the schedule above for the originally scheduled time limit.
For example, the professor sets a one-hour time limit for an exam. The Disability Services office determines that extended testing time of 1.5 times on all tests, quizzes, and examinations is a reasonable and appropriate accommodation for a student. In this case, the student would pay the fee for a one-hour exam AND receive 1.5 hours to complete the exam.
[2] The stated prices are valid if the student schedules the exam more than 72 hours in advance. Students will pay a late fee if they schedule the exam with less than 72 hours advance notice. Please review the ProctorU late fee schedule for amounts.
