Experiences

Our program encourages Ph.D. students to learn about management in a variety of ways:

• Structured learning opportunities: Our program engages students in learning through coursework, independent study courses, assignments as research assistants and dissertation research.
• Journal articles: Students can deepen their knowledge of their research area through writing or co-authoring a paper with one or more faculty members.
• Scheduled events: Students take part in a variety of learning activities including academic seminars, “brown bag” luncheon seminars, meetings with business executives and participation in academic conferences.
