AggiesCALL

AggiesCALL brings together Aggie students to make phone calls on behalf of local nonprofit organizations.  This service frees up the organization's time to focus on the good work they provide and offers Aggie students professional training in phone etiquette and gratitude communication. Our mission is to equip Aggies to provide selfless service to our local community, one call at a time.

AggiesCALL Details

  • Each 2-hour event serves one local nonprofit. During an event, students complete AggiesCALL training, then make calls to thank donors or promote upcoming events.
  • Any Aggie can sign up as a volunteer---no prior experience is required. If you have previously trained for AggiesCALL this school year, you will not have to repeat the training portion of the event if you volunteer again.
  • The AggiesCALL event starts with an introduction to the nonprofit mission, then proceeds through training for phone etiquette, confidentiality, and call systems.
  • Students are provided with a script and a call list from the nonprofit and then complete their phone calls on-site at Mays Business School.
  • Staff facilitators supervise the calling sessions to be sure the highest quality of service is provided to our nonprofit partners.
