Dr. Zachary Hall

Zach accumulated almost 10 years of experience in sales, consulting, and marketing. Zach has consulted with over 20 companies in a wide range of industries such as consumer packaged goods, direct selling, health care, wealth management, and technology. Zach’s has expertise in adaptive/persuasive communication, sales force management, buyer/seller relationships, and employee performance.

Zach’s research has been published in the leading marketing and sales journals such as Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, and Industrial Marketing Management. Zach was recently recognized as a MSI Young Scholar which is awarded to the top 30 young marketing scholars in the world. Further, his research was awarded by the American Marketing Association with the AMA Sales SIG Sales Excellence in Research award in both 2015 and 2016. In addition to research, Zach is recognized as a leading teacher, trainer, and coach. From his sales courses, he has received awards on Teaching Innovativeness and Teaching Excellence.

Zach received a B.B.A. in Marketing at Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi (Summa Cum Laude), a M.S. in Finance and M.B.A. at Texas Tech University and a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Houston University.  Before entering academia and consulting, Zach play semi-professional poker and worked as a financial analyst in the retail industry as well as sales manager for Perceptive Sciences Consulting.
