Aggies in Private Equity

Built for the Realities of Private-Market Recruiting

Recruiting for private-equity-related careers can begin as early as three years before graduation. AIPE identifies and develops talent early — typically beginning as early as a student’s freshman year.

Graduates will be positioned to pursue opportunities with:

  • Private equity firms
  • Venture capital firms
  • Growth equity funds
  • Middle-market buyout firms

Preparation That Goes Beyond the Classroom

AIPE combines rigorous coursework, hands-on learning, mentorship, and immersive field experiences. Students build the technical expertise, strategic judgment, professional network, and practical experience needed to stand out in highly selective recruiting processes.

With mergers and acquisitions woven throughout the curriculum and experiential programming, students learn how investors:
  • Evaluate companies and industries
  • Analyze and structure transactions
  • Identify opportunities for growth
  • Create value across the investment lifecycle
  • Navigate the demands of private-market investing
