Winter Programs

Mays Business School offers a variety of winter faculty-led programs. Students learn about global business, culture, and economic environments first-hand.

Overview

Although classes are taught in a foreign location, your classmates will be Aggies and instruction is in English. Program dates are approximate and subject to change. Most programs are associated with a spring course; however, the Antarctica program is associated with a fall course.

Programs Associated With a Spring Course

  • The application period is Apr. – Sept. 1. Students are selected on a rolling basis until the program is at capacity.
  • The $300 CIBS administrative fee billed after students ‘commit’ to a program is non-refundable.
  • A valid passport is required for winter programs by Sept. 15. A valid passport must have validity of at least six (6) months beyond the program end date.
  • Please refer to the TAMU Health and Safety Travel Preparations website to prepare for a healthy and safe international experience.

Programs Associated With a Fall Course

  • The application period is Nov. – Feb. 1. Students are selected on a rolling basis until the program is at capacity.
  • The $300 CIBS administrative fee billed after students ‘commit’ to a program is non-refundable.
  • A valid passport is required for fall programs by Mar. 1. A valid passport must have validity of at least six (6) months beyond program end date.

Funding

  • CIBS Global Programs Scholarship:
    • Winter, spring break, and May programs (w/ spring course): Oct. 12
    • Winter programs (w/fall course): Apr. 15
  • University Wide Scholarships:
    • Winter, spring, spring break, and May programs (w/ spring course): Sept. 10 – Oct. 12
    • Winter programs (w/ fall course): Feb. 15 – Apr. 15
  • Visit the Education Abroad Funding page for additional funding sources
  • Submit Education Abroad Cost of Attendance Adjustment Form (provided by CIBS) to Scholarships & Financial Aid for additional scholarships, grants, and loans.
