How to Apply
This 11-month residential program is designed to provide recent college graduates and young business professionals with the experiential knowledge and leadership expertise required to successfully plan and orchestrate the point-to-point flow of goods through an ever-changing international supply chain network.
Submit a Pre-ApplicationApplication Requirements
Applications are reviewed on a rolling admissions model. Priority deadline applicants are evaluated for first admission and considered for financial aid. We evaluate applications and financial aid considerations in the order in which we receive them until the final deadline or until the program is filled.
Submission through BusinessCAS is by invitation only, following the successful completion of our pre-application process.
Phase 1: Program Admission
The pre-application can be found here and the requirements are:
- Current resume
- Unofficial transcripts from all institutions attended
- Responses to three essay questions
- Contact information for three academic and/or professional references
- TOEFL or IELTS (see requirements for international applicants)
- Applicants must electronically submit a TEC or WES basic course-by-course evaluation for international transcripts.
- GRE and GMAT scores are optional but can be uploaded if available. For scores to be considered, test must be taken within 5 years of application submission date. Official reports will be required if admitted.

Phase 2: Texas A&M University Graduate Admission
Upon acceptance to the MS SCAN program, you will be guided through the process to gain official graduate admission at Texas A&M University through submission of an application in BusinessCAS. The following items will be required:
- Resume
- Unofficial transcript(s)
- TOEFL or IELTS unofficial scores (international students only)
- Copy of valid passport (international students only)
- Payment of application fee

Tuition and Financial Aid

Texas Resident Tuition: $32,186 (total cost estimate)*
Non-Resident Tuition: $49,656 (total cost estimate)*
International Tuition: $51,499 (plus health insurance through ISSS)(total cost estimate)*
International students are required to take 6 credits in the summer. This will increase the total non-resident tuition estimate by approximately $1,400.

Fund Your Education
Teaching Assistant Positions
The Department of Information and Operations Management (INFO) offers a limited number of teaching assistant (TA) positions each semester. The criteria for selection are based on the department’s need and the student’s qualifications.
The department automatically considers all prospective students who receive an admission offer to the MS-SCAN program for these positions. For prospective students, an applicant’s admissions application also serves as the application for teaching assistant positions. TA selections are made on a competitive basis and are announced via e-mail in early-to-mid March for incoming students.
The wage for these positions is $12.50 per hour, and TAs can expect to work approximately 20 hours per week. These positions do not include health insurance or non-resident tuition waivers.
Scholarships
The program offers academic scholarships to admitted students who are identified by the admissions committee as exceptional candidates for the program. This will be a competitive process, and an applicant’s admissions application (in BusinessCAS) will also serve as his/her scholarship application. The evaluation process for academic scholarships will be similar to the evaluation process for admissions, with the committee focusing on prior academic performance, test scores, and prior experiences and/or achievements. Scholarships will be announced via email following the priority application review and again at the end of the application process (March for international applicants and May for domestic applicants). We recommend applying by the priority deadline for the best opportunity to receive financial assistance.
