4+1 MS Management Information Systems

• Currently enrolled undergraduate students at Texas A&M are eligible to apply for the MS MIS 4+1 program.  Students should apply in their junior year.
• Students must be scheduled to earn baccalaureate degrees in a spring semester and must have room in their spring class schedule to take two graduate courses (6 credit hours).

We’re excited that you’ve decided to continue your education and have chosen to pursue a master’s degree through the MS MIS 4+1 Program at Texas A&M University. The pre-application for the program includes two phases:
Phase 1: Pre-Admission to the MS-MIS program

Phase 2: Upon program acceptance, graduate admission to Texas A&M University

Phase 1: Program Admission

To be considered for the MS MIS 4+1 program, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be a current undergraduate student at Texas A&M University with an overall GPA ≥ 3.25
• Meet with the MS MIS advisor, Dr. Aaron Becker, to review the program requirement. To schedule an appointment with Dr. Becker, click here.
• Submit the application form by April 1
• Provide the following documents:
  • Resume
  • Undergraduate transcripts
  • Undergraduate degree evaluation

If selected to move forward in the process:

• Interview with the admissions team

Phase 2: Texas A&M University Graduate Admission

Upon acceptance to the MS MIS 4+1 program, you will be guided through the process to gain official graduate admission at Texas A&M University including:

• Completed BusinessCAS application
  • Resume
  • Unofficial transcripts
  • Application fee

• Applications Open: Sept. 1
• Application Deadline: April 1
• Interviews: Mid April
• Admission Decisions: Late May
