Jana Sprayberry

Biography

My husband, Ray, and I moved permanently to College Station from Boerne in May 2022 upon his retirement from his orthodontic practice of 30 years. We are both Texas A&M class of ’88, and where he will be attending any and all Aggie sporting events, I wanted a place to give back to the University I love. I have found just that in my new position in the Information & Operations Management Student Services Office where I will have the opportunity to serve my fellow coworkers as well Mays students.

After graduation, I worked as an auditor for Deloitte and assistant controller for Peveto & Companies. Leaving accounting, I entered the ministry serving as Director of Children’s Ministries at First United Methodist Church – Boerne. Once we became empty nesters, I went to work full-time in Ray’s practice as the office manager and accountant until his retirement.

We have two children, Ryan and Sarah. Ryan and his wife, Mandi, are Baylor grads, and the amazing parents to our two grandsons, who we visit every chance we get. Our daughter, Sarah, has earned BS and MS degrees in Animal Science from TAMU and is currently working toward an Aggie 3-peat (pursuing her PhD in ALEC).
