Education
BBA, Accounting, Texas A&M University, 1988Biography
My husband, Ray, and I moved permanently to College Station from Boerne in May 2022 upon his retirement from his orthodontic practice of 30 years. We are both Texas A&M class of ’88, and where he will be attending any and all Aggie sporting events, I wanted a place to give back to the University I love. I have found just that in my position in the Information and Operations Management Student Services Office, where I have the privilege of participating in the recruitment and admissions of students for our master’s programs.
After graduation, I worked as an auditor for Deloitte and an assistant controller for Peveto & Companies. Leaving accounting, I entered the ministry, serving as director of children’s ministries at First United Methodist Church – Boerne. Once we became empty nesters, I went to work full-time in Ray’s practice as the office manager and accountant until his retirement.
We have two children, Ryan and Sarah. Ryan and his wife, Mandi, are Baylor grads, and the amazing parents to our two grandsons, whom we visit every chance we get. Our daughter, Sarah, did all three degrees at Texas A&M and is a professor at the University of Kentucky, where she and her fiancé live with our grand dog and horse.
