Biography

Lauren has worked for Mays Business School since 2013 in various roles. Lauren joined the Office of Corporate Relations team in September 2023 and currently serves as Director of Recruiter Success. Previously, she served as Associate Director of the Student Transformation Center (STC), as well as Assistant Director of the Center for Retailing Studies in the Marketing Department. Prior, she worked as the Director of Development for a local nonprofit from 2012-2013 and as an Executive Meeting Manager in the hotel industry from 2006 – 2011.

As Director of Recruiter Success, Lauren assists with the direction and supervision of all employer recruitment operations at Mays Business School. She provides leadership and directs support to internal units, while connecting employers with the appropriate departments or programs within the college. As one of the first recruitment contacts for employers, Lauren develops and executes comprehensive employer engagement strategies based on our partners’ respective hiring goals, including overseeing special projects (programs), as they relate to employer recruitment initiatives at Mays Business School.

Additionally, Lauren serves as an Instructor Mentor for BUSN 101 and is the former Advisor to the Student Retailing Association and M.B. Zale Leadership Scholar program (2013-2022), as well as the SUMMIT Student Exec Team (2022-2023). Lauren also served on the Mays Staff Council from 2019-2022, and various committees across the college such as: Women’s Leadership Initiative planning committee; Aggieland Saturday Planning Committee, CRS Director Search and Advisory Committees, Mays Strategic Planning Committee, and Aggies in TECH. Currently, Lauren is one of four colleagues from Mays Business School serving on the Rapid Response Team for Texas A&M University’s AggieWay Program. Lauren has been recognized by Mays Business School with the Star Performer Award in 2015, 2019, and 2023, and by Texas A&M University as Advisor of the Year in 2018. She was also selected to be a Fish Camp (an orientation camp for Freshmen) Namesake for 2023.

Lauren is a two-time Texas A&M University graduate, having received her Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation, Park & Tourism Sciences and her Master of Science degree in Educational Human Resource Development. Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband Dave and their future Aggie children, Samuel and Emersyn, their Goldendoodle Hazel Mae, and volunteering in her children’s school.
