Biography
With over 20 years experience in higher education including undergraduate and graduate admissions/recruitment, academic and need-based scholarships, retention, student development, and financial aid, Myra has guided and mentored many students and colleagues toward accomplishing both their educational and professional goals. She has a passion for life long learning and understand that higher education can be one pathway toward improving oneself and the communities that we live in.
Since 2002 she has served as advisor for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers at Texas A&M University. She has also served on various committees in the Texas Association for College Admission Counseling and the National Association for College Admission Counseling.
