Overview

The Professional MBA program is a rigorous 22-month program designed for working professionals who want to immediately apply the knowledge they learn in the classroom to their jobs. This program, which is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), offers many unique features and benefits:

  • A strong foundation in business: A structured schedule of core business classes provides students with the knowledge, concepts and skills they will use throughout their career. Students complete 45 hours of coursework on leadership, management, finance, economics, accounting, analysis, marketing, communications, international business policy and corporate strategy.
  • Applied learning: Our curriculum uses case studies, peer discussions and dynamic interactions to engage students. This applied focus gives students the knowledge and skills that they can immediately use in their current positions. All Professional MBA students also participate in an international field trip, the team building experience and a capstone consulting project.
  • Internationally recognized faculty: Elite full-time professors from the Mays Business School teach all Professional MBA classes. The Professional MBA faculty members — including department heads, distinguished professors and executive professors — understand how to successfully combine theory, methodology and experiential knowledge to create a challenging and dynamic learning environment.
  • Access to a global network: Students and graduates can tap into the extensive Texas A&M MBA Network and Texas A&M’s renowned Aggie Network for various reasons, including networking, seeking job opportunities and developing business partnerships.
