- Instructions: max of 500 words, double spaced, 12 pt. font
Note: We will not audit the documents uploaded. Do not email documents to staff.
You will need to create an account, then you will be able to apply for the scholarship.
It is the Mays policy to only consider applications for the February and May CFA Exams. This is to ensure your success with the job search and historical pass rates the Department has seen.
Deadlines
The Department has a self study course each semester, the Fall course targets the February Exam and the Spring course targets the May Exam. It takes around two weeks for our scholarship to be reflected on your CFA account. For the Fall course you should apply by early August. For the Spring course, early December. If your exam date is outside this window, reach out to Misty Page and see if there are any scholarships available.
Since there are a limited number of scholarships available, the scholarships will be awarded competitively to the most worthy candidates with the highest probability of succeeding in the CFA exam. The scholarships will be awarded within one week of the deadline.
It is imperative that you do not register prior to applying or receiving award notification. If you do, the scholarship will not be applicable.
