Amanda Olson

Amanda Olson is the Director of Executive Career Programming in the Graduate Programs Office at Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. In this role, she leads the development and implementation of career education strategies, executive coaching initiatives, and professional development programming for experienced professionals across MBA and specialized master’s programs. Amanda brings extensive experience in graduate and professional business education, having previously held senior career leadership roles at the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business, multiple Texas A&M University System institutions, and the Mays Graduate Career Management Center. Her work is grounded in a student-centered philosophy, with a particular emphasis on leadership development, career mobility, and supporting graduate students, veterans, and non-traditional learners.

Amanda is an active leader within the MBA Career Services and Employer Alliance (MBA CSEA) and frequently presents nationally on career education, executive development, and employer engagement. She also serves as a Visiting Lecturer in Career and Professional Development and is currently pursuing a PhD in Education Administration at Texas A&M University, with research focused on student veterans, recognition of prior learning, and post-graduation career outcomes.
