Biography
Casey returned to Mays Business School in May 2010 to be Senior Academic Advisor for the Professional Program. She advised PPA students on careers and courses, works as a liaison between the students and the firms, and helped teach the Professional Development Seminar course. She also has taught ACCT 650, Accounting Ethics, multiple semesters. Additionally, she facilitated the CPA Becker Review course every spring semester. In 2015, she was promoted to Assistant Director of PPA and in fall 2022 promoted to Director of PPA and the MS Accounting Program.
From 2008-2010, Casey worked at the Dallas office of Ernst & Young in audit and assurance business services. She mainly worked with large healthcare and technology clients along with heavily recruiting new interns and full-time hires. Casey was in PPA group 15 and graduated from Texas A&M University in 2008 with both a BBA in Accounting and a MS in Marketing. She also is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas.
In her free time, Casey loves spending time with her husband, TJ, and two daughters, Piper and Parker.
