Biography

Cesar Rivera is an Assistant Program Director within the Graduate Career Management Center at Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, where he partners with graduate business students to support career strategy, professional development, and long-term career success. His work centers on career coaching, employer engagement, and building scalable programming that helps students translate their experiences into compelling professional narratives.

Cesar brings a diverse professional background spanning higher education, career services, healthcare, military service, and business development. Prior to joining Mays Business School, he supported first-generation and high-achieving students within Texas A&M’s College of Engineering, where he collaborated on high-impact learning initiatives and student success programming. Earlier in his career, he also served in roles across academic advising, sales, and healthcare operations, developing a strong foundation in relationship-building, coaching, and organizational effectiveness.

As a U.S. Army veteran, Cesar’s leadership approach is grounded in discipline, adaptability, and service. He is known for his ability to connect with individuals, helping them gain clarity, confidence, and momentum in their professional journeys. His work is driven by a commitment to empowering others to tell their stories with purpose and pursue opportunities aligned with their goals.
