Biography
Kara Johnson is the Program Assistant for the Center for International Business Studies, Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, where she transitioned into a full-time role after graduation. This position allows her to continue supporting international business initiatives and student engagement, building on the experience she gained as a CIBS Student Assistant during her undergraduate studies.
Kara earned her BBA in Management from Texas A&M University and is now pursuing her MBA through LSU Shreveport, with a concentration in International Business. As an undergraduate student, her study abroad experience in Florence, Italy, gave her a deep appreciation for different ways of life, traditions, values, and perspectives. This has sparked a passion for international education! Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with friends & family, playing pickleball, and reading a good book.
