Scott Pleus is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the commodities and finance sectors. Currently serving as the COO of Commodities at DRW, he has a strong background in risk management, trading, and financial analysis. With a career spanning over three decades, Scott has held leadership roles at prominent firms including Mercuria Energy Trading and J.P. Morgan. His entrepreneurial spirit is evident from his co-founding of Eleox, where he contributed to the board’s strategic direction. Scott’s expertise in derivatives and hedging has positioned him as a key player in the commodities market. He is known for his analytical mindset and ability to navigate complex financial landscapes. Scott holds a degree in finance from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Outside of work, he is passionate about fostering innovation and sustainability in the energy sector.
