Summer Liu is an Assistant Professor in the James Benjamin Department of Accounting at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University. She joined Mays in July 2023, after receiving her Ph.D. from Arizona State University.
She conducts archival accounting research that primarily examines two areas: 1) how personal characteristics of capital market participants (e.g., top executives, sell-side analysts, and auditors) influence their professional performance and decisions, and 2) determinants of corporate contracts with top executives.
