Full-Time MBA students gain valuable international experience through pursuing an international business certificate program or study abroad opportunities. These experiences immerse students in a new culture and provide a global perspective to their career.
Mays Business School offers semester exchange programs at 18 business schools in Asia, Europe and Latin America. The following four partnership schools also offer unique summer study opportunities:
- Copenhagen Business School, Copenhagen, Denmark
- EDHEC, Nice and Lille, France
- Peking University Guanghua School of Management, Beijing, China
- WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management, Vallendar, Germany
International Business Certificate
MBA students who pursue an international business certificate delve into international business and culture while gaining the skills and knowledge necessary to work for a global organization.
Experience Highlights
Following is a summary of key program details:
Curriculum: Full-time MBA students take an international elective during Term 5 and 12 credit hours of international business coursework during a semester or summer exchange program.
Tuition, fees and additional costs: Scholarships are available to defray some of the costs.

Summer Study Abroad Program
Experience Highlights
Course credit: MBA students earn from 3-12 credit hours through various study abroad programs held over the summer.
Tuition, fees and additional costs: Some costs may be offset by scholarships.

Semester Exchange Program
Experience Highlights
Course credit: MBA students may extend their program by one semester and study at a partner university. Students earn from 9-12 credit hours during this program.
