Undergraduate Admissions
Learn more below about the admission requirements based on your application type.
Freshman
Applying to start college for the first time after high school graduation?
Admission to Mays is a competitive process. We receive more applications from qualified applicants than we can admit. We encourage you to
- complete your application well before the stated deadline for maximum consideration.
- select business (major code BUAD) as your first-choice major.
Mays Business School does not select applicants for freshman admissions. The process is managed entirely by Texas A&M’s Office of Admissions. Visit the Admissions website to start your freshman application. Once you have been admitted to the university, your application will be reviewed for admission to Mays Business School.
Direct your questions about admissions and your application to the Texas A&M Office of Admissions.
Transfer
Have you attended another college or university and want to transfer to Texas A&M?
Admission to Mays is a competitive process. You should plan early and consult with a Texas A&M admission counselor to ensure you will meet minimum admission requirements.
Important Note: Transfer students who accept admission to a non-business major at Texas A&M are generally not eligible to change their major into Mays. See “On-Campus Change of Major” for more info.
