Gary Williamson

Biography

Howdy! My name is Gary Williamson and I’m an Instructional Materials Coordinator (a fancy way of saying I’m a video editor) with the Teaching and Learning Innovation Team in the Mays Business School. I’ve spent much of my career in the video arts and my track record includes working as a field cameraman for the News, working as an Audio / Video Assistant at the University of North Texas, and working here – at Texas A&M – doing the same thing I was doing at UNT but with a bigger crew. I’ve also worked on some independent films and commercials, and I’ve done stuff for social media.

In my spare time, I like to clay sculpt, draw, hike, take nature pics, act, write, play the piano (I’m still learning so I’m not that great), play video games, and critic tv shows and movies.
