Aggies In Consulting

Aggies in Consulting (AiC) prepares incoming sophomore students for successful careers in consulting by providing them with the skills, experiences, extracurricular activities, and mentorship necessary to place and subsequently thrive in all levels of consulting. This high-impact program features a cohort learning model that fosters collaborative learning and gives students a competitive advantage in landing lucrative consulting roles.

Summary

Credit Hours: 12

Eligible Applicants: Rising sophomore students preferred. Interested upper-level students, with prior experience, will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Exclusions and Requirements: The program is open to Texas A&M students from any college and major. Applicants must complete the BUSN 289 – 501 – AiC: Discover Consulting introductory course.

Students apply for the program after completing the BUSN 289 – 501 – AiC: Discover Consulting introductory course, offered in the Fall.

This class is a prerequisite to applying for Aggies in Consulting.

The Aggies in Consulting program consists of four 3-credit hour courses that take place over several semesters. The first course, BUSN 289 – 501 – AiC: Discover Consulting, is an introductory course open to all rising sophomores who may have an interest in a consulting career or want to learn more about consulting. BUSN 289 – 501 – AiC: Discover Consulting serves as a prerequisite to enrollment in the Aggies in Consulting Program. Students will apply for AiC after successful completion of the introductory course. Applications will be competitive.

Consulting Interview Prep Course

Consulting Internship:
A consulting internship is required for the successful completion of the Aggies in Consulting program. While Aggies in Consulting does not guarantee internship or full-time employment, the program will provide numerous networking opportunities and access to recruiters for students to explore possibilities.

Elective:
Work with program director and academic advisor to determine the best fit.
