Biography

Amanda is dedicated to transforming lives through learning and development and is honored to be a part of Mays Business School Teaching and Learning Innovation Team. With expertise in Instructional Design she has successfully created innovative learning solutions across diverse industries, including healthcare, education, and technology.

Holding a Master of Science in Educational Psychology with emphasis in Curriculum Design and Psychometrics and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas A&M University, she brings over two decades of experience with insight into human behavior and cognition fostering learning experiences that are engaging, inclusive, and results oriented. She creates balanced, authentic assessments to test foundational knowledge, core competencies, task performance and real-world problems. Notable achievements include the development of AI-integrated courses for global online learning platforms, compliance training for non-profits, and competency-based programs for higher education institutions.

An author and presenter she has contributed to peer reviewed journals and conferences on topics ranging from career decision-making to instructional methodologies. Committed to lifelong learning and advocacy, she continues to push the boundaries of instructional design, ensuring learners and organizations achieve meaningful outcomes and measurable success.
