Biography
Nicole Nelson is Media Relations Manager at Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, where she supports strategic media relations efforts that enhance the school’s national visibility. She partners with faculty and leadership to translate research, rankings milestones, and institutional priorities into clear, timely stories for business, higher education, and industry audiences. Her work centers on connecting Mays experts with relevant media opportunities and contributing to the school’s reputation through thoughtful, data-informed strategy.
Before joining Mays, Nicole served as Earned Media Manager at KURU Footwear, overseeing earned media strategy across SEO, digital PR, organic social, and gifted influencer initiatives. She developed scalable processes and guided cross-functional collaboration that strengthened brand authority, supported media coverage, and contributed to measurable growth.
Nicole earned her MBA from Southern Utah University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Montana State University.
