Irene Ai joined Mays Business School in January 2024 as an Instructional Designer for the Teaching and Learning Innovation Team. Irene earned her master’s degree in Instructional Technology and Media from Columbia University and her bachelor’s degree in education from National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan.
With a diverse professional background, Irene has experience as a secondary teacher, a UI/UX designer for Learning Management Systems, and an instructional technology specialist in higher education environments. Her passion as an instructional designer is driven by her goal of enhancing teaching and learning experiences by applying various learning theories and technology solutions to the development of relevant, engaging, and authentic learning experiences.
