Summer Programs

Mays Business School offers a variety of summer faculty-led and exchange program opportunities in a number of locations. Program requirements and application deadlines may vary.

A selected group of students study with a Mays professor abroad and earn TAMU credit. Students learn about international business, culture, and economic environments first-hand. Although classes are taught in a foreign location, instruction is in English. Program dates are approximate and subject to change.

  • The application period is September 1 – November 1. Students are selected on a rolling basis upon approval until the program is at capacity.
  • Learn more from prior participants by visiting the CIBS Faculty Programs blog.
  • The $300 CIBS administrative fee billed after students ‘confirm’ for a program is non-refundable.
  • Learn about and apply for TAMU scholarships and CIBS scholarships

The following exchange partners offer a summer program on unique business topics. Students travel on their own to the destination, and the course is facilitated by the host university in English. Summer exchange programs often include excursions and business visits to enhance the learning outcomes. Students may also have free weekends to explore the local area.

All courses below can be used for international electives in business degree plans. Please speak with your academic advisor to verify degree applicability. Exchange courses are considered transfer credit; grades will appear as TA, TB, TC, etc. on your TAMU transcript. These grades will not be included in your TAMU GPA.  Summer exchange programs are open to U2-U4 students with a minimum of 3.0 GPA.
