Letter from the interim department head

When I was an undergraduate student, I chose to major in Management. This decision has changed my life for the better and given me many amazing opportunities. The Department of Management here at Mays offers students a great opportunity to pursue knowledge and grow as they learn more about how to manage people and organizations. The faculty and staff in the department are committed to helping our undergraduate and graduate students learn and achieve their goals, while providing world-class education experiences. We are also dedicated to advancing knowledge by generating knowledge and insight through our research scholarship.

Applied Learning Opportunities for Students

We offer courses and experiences focused on advancing the mission of Mays and that are designed to help undergraduate and graduate students learn and experience the field of management. Our approach helps students develop the foundational understanding they need about a broad array of managerial challenges, tools, and techniques. Students graduating from our programs use this knowledge to achieve success as practicing managers, organizational leaders, and productive scholars.
